Yesterday, I accompanied my friend to Johor for a medical check up. After her check up, we went to City Square, Johor in Malaysia, shopping for clothes. We actually found nothing, due to the upgrading process in the shopping mall. Thus, most of the clothing shops are closed.
Anyway, we found something much more interesting. Which is to fill our stomach with something yummy~
I found this shop located "SOMEWHERE" in the mall. LOLx~
My friend and I shared two set lunch, a Beef Tom Yum Soup Noodles and a Chicken Curry Toast. If you have tried the original Thai Tom Yum, you wouldn't like any of the Tom Yum from Malaysia or Singapore. LOLx..!!! Thus, for me.. The Tom Yum soup is so so only. But the beef is nice.
The Chicken Curry is so rich. The potato is soft. The bread is crispy and soft at the same time. I love it!!
The set lunch is inclusive of a drink and it cost us about RM10.50, which means about SGD4.30
Cheap right..??!!!!
But if you compared the price in KL, you would definitely found something even more cheaper. Because the portion is quite small only.
I still can't decide where to have my holiday. Where should I go? Gosh~ I think, I have been thinking a lot. Or probably too much? That's why I can't come out with a decision?
The first place that came to my mind was actually Tahiti Island.
On 2008, I blog about Bora Bora Island and it is as equally beautiful as Tahiti Island. Bora Bora Island is actually located nearby Tahiti Island. Thus, you can travel to any island around there easily.

Everything about it was so good. Just that, it's quite pricey. It's very well known for celebrities visit. Most of the well known person would have their holiday there. Thus, it would really hurt your purse a lot. My manager told me that, "Actually, you don't have to go there when it's very expensive. Because there would be some other places with a cheaper price and yet still very beautiful." I agreed with his statement.
So, I went on to search for another Island. Which is Maldives Island.
It's really very beautiful as well. I wanted so badly to wake up by the sea side and watching the sunrise. It would be such a wonderful moment to live with. Yet, it is still very pricey. Hahaha...!!! I know that it is worthwhile to spent on the beauty of the nature. But what my manager had said to me, kept popping out of my mind. LOLx..!!!
Thus, I went for another search. Which is in Asia. Phi Phi Island.
It's actually affordable price for me. However, person like me... Who don't really know how to swim, really had a limited activities to have fun with. Lolx..!!! It would be quite bored for me, as most of the activities that they provided are based on the sea.
I would then need to reconsider again and went on to search for another one.
It was being name as "Golden Palm Tree" was because of the resort is being build in palm tree shape. During night time, when the lights are ON... The palm tree looks golden. Thus, they name it Golden Palm Tree. (Actually, I'm not sure whether it's the real reason of having the name. Hahaha...!! I't only my wild guess. But it sounds reasonable right? Hahaha..)
They're under my list because of the various kind of activities that they have provided. As it would be a great holiday package for a person who doesn't know how to swim, like me. Hahaha...
It then leads me to the price of having my holiday there. Does it worth it? The best rates that I could get is about RM840 for 2 nights (room for 2 person). Should I have my holiday in other places instead? Or I should actually visit Taiwan, Japan or Korea? Korea would be my choice of honeymoon destination. Hahaha..!!! So, where should I go then, now?!!

It would be so good that if there's someone there lending me a safe and comfortable place for me to rest for a while. It's crucial to say that there's always a problem/ troubles in our life. But, it's the truth about life. I can't run away from problems. I also can't guarantee that I am able to solve the problems. However, the most important fact is to be able to find a rest and comfort for me to overcome problems and growing up with problems.

I get my hair cut today. Huh..!! Just couldn't stand the hot weather here. Besides, my hair are actually damage. So, I made a sudden decision today.
My roomie said that it was way too short. I don't really mind, as I even had a boy-cut hairstyle before. Actually, I don't have the intention to keep my hair long. I just don't want to waste my money on my hair so frequent. Thus, I only made a trip to hair salon once a year. LOLx...!! However, this time I can't wait until the end of this year.
My hair was so badly damaged. It was too dry. Poor thing... RIP, my long hair...
So, I have no choice but to cut it off. The hairstylist asked me, "You just broke up with your boyfriend?" Hahaha...!!! And of course that is not reason why I had my hair cut. It's actually kind of common mindset among the Asians? I'm not sure about other countries. But, normally Malaysian ladies would go for a haircut when they break up with their boyfriend. Of course, I'm not saying ALL of them. But majority.
Anyway, I really love my new hairstyle. It's so good to be short. My head was like... so light... LOLx..!!! Kind of having a fresh look.
In another thought, I feel like going back to secondary school. Why..?? Because the hairstyle makes me look young..!!! Hahaha...

Father's Day is coming up and I still don't know what to buy. I am running out of idea. The only thing that I know he wanted was to have a holiday again in Sabah. But, it's kind of... hmm.. out of my budget.. lolx...!!! My daddy have been a superhero to me. He's a great man and a superb father. He's stubborn, but he's very nice towards anyone. He forgives and forget easily. He suffered and being treated unfairly by his mother and siblings, but still he love and forgives them easily.
I always tell my mom, that my dad's workshop is a charity workshop. Why? He employs those lazy and useless friends of his, and my cousins. They create troubles and help my dad by making losses. Yet, my dad just covered up for them and his worker can come and go as they like. That's why I said it's a charity workshop.
But... That makes me proud of him. Yes, people bullied him. But he's still standing strong for us. Mommy always said that daddy is a good man and a superb father but not a good husband. LOLx~ That's why she said that we're so lucky to be born as my dad's child. It's quite true actually. Hahaha...!! Daddy is not a romantic guy. He won't say "I love you" or "I miss you", like what my mom would say to us.
But because of that attitude/behaviour, he always protect us, he kept all the suffering towards himself only, he would give the best to us and he wouldn't give us a chance to share the burden with him. Gosh..!!! He's really a great dad..!!!
I find Google getting so interesting, lately. Well they're really so creative and imaginative. I am sure that some of you might have tried some of the Google search tricks. Like, "let it snow", "do a barrel roll", etc.
Well, just now I found something interesting about the new tricks of Google search engines. I think it was probably created due to the launching of Diablo 3? Anyway, just go to "Google Search" and then type "Zerg Rush". It will show you the rest.
At first, my friend just told me to help him to search something about "Zerg Rush". Then I thought, "okay, since I have nothing to do also." After that, the words are disappearing.. My mind was whispering to me, "Huh..!! What happen?"
It was so good to be home. Last Friday, I went back to my home country to celebrate Mother's Day. Gosh~ It was really so good to be home. I was so pampered by my parents. Spending all my time with them and I was really having so much fun with them.
Actually... My uncle, my mom's younger brother did something that really touched my heart. He thought, none of us (my siblings) are going back home to celebrate Mother's Day. So, he bought a cake for my mom. He was so thoughtful and sweet. My mom are alone at home for the most of the time. By the time my dad knock off, it's already night time. So, my uncle always visit my mom whenever he have the time. Thanks God that He provide my mom a companion.

This year, Mother's Day Celebration was quite simple. A lot of stuff that mommy can't eat, due to her high cholesterol. She can't take too much of rice, oily food, sweet stuff, etc. We didn't have a grand dinner in any restaurant. We just had our family dinner at home. Even though it is just a simple dinner at home. But we really had our great time together. I can see the smile on their face all day long. Their smile and laughter makes me even more happier..!!!
Mom and Dad prepared a lot of food for me. Gosh~ I have been eating all day, non-stop. Actually, there's a lot more... But, I was too excited to put all into my mouth. Thus... Forgotten to take the photo. Hahaha...
I don't really know what is the name of this "thing". Daddy said that it is some sort of grass living under the sea. Hahaha... It is to be eaten raw and mix with sliced onion, garlic, carrot and red chillies. And it's yummy~ Daddy's cooking is superb...!!! I only remember to take the "before" picture and forgotten about the "after". Hahaha...
Mommy cooked my favourite Bak Kut Teh (pork ribs soup). Daddy asked, "Why cook such a very small portion? The soup is not enough." Mommy paused awhile and said, "Just the two of you are eating." Hahaha... Mommy are so cute...
This Jelly is made by me. Wakakaka...!!! By just looking at it, you already know that it taste really nice right? Hahaha... Especially the grape flavour. The strong orange smell makes the grape taste even better...!!! The combination was just nice.. hahaha... Next time, I think I'm going to try to use watermelon instead of oranges. Am I creative? Hahaha...

Mommy also cooked my favourite chicken herb soup and meat dumpling soup...!!! Too bad, I never took a picture of it. I couldn't wait to put all those food into my mouth.
Oh ya~ about the gift for my mom. I did some adjustment again. Haha... I bought some ribbons, paper clips, transparent card case to slot in the photo, and the glue.
Hahaha... Not human.. It's a guinea pig. Lolx~ Her stomach is really very huge.
Look at the movement of her stomach in the video below. Make a guess... How many babies are there in her stomach? The movement are so obvious. Sometimes, I wonder how does it feel to be pregnant. o.O I asked my mom, "Would she feel pain when the baby is kicking or turning it's body? Cause the skin was like stretching when the babies moved." My mom said, "Same like human. You could feel them moving but it's not pain."

Gosh~ Am I outdated? This is actually my first time seeing a warranty of ONE YEAR for purse. Take a look at the first picture below. Search for the word "important" at 2nd paragraph, 2nd line... Notice the sentence "Lack of reasonable care".
Well, how do they know whether it is due to my lack of reasonable care or not? They could just simply reject to repair any defective parts. As they could just say, " Oh, it is due to the lack of reasonable care"

I went to OG, Chinatown, Singapore to buy a purse for my mom. It's for a Mother's Day present by Tocco Toscano.
Actually, while I am choosing for the colours in OG.. It seems to be more like a "pinkish red". However when I reached home, I wanted to take a picture of the purse. Then, I find that the pinkish colour disappeared. O.O" It turns out to become a red colour instead. LOLx~ I think it was probably due to the lighting. Anyway, this purse cost me about SGD135.20 (after 20% discount).
My mom don't really like to use a huge purse. She would rather not to bring her purse along and just bring the cash out. Thus, I can only aim for a smaller size purse. I actually prefer a rectangular shape purse. I think it looks nicer.
Well, Mother's Day is coming soon. I'm very excited to see my mommy's happy face. I know everyday should be a mother's day. But 13 May is the day that we, as a child could give our mom something extra.
I have thought about the gifts for weeks...!!! I don't really know what to buy for my mom. To recall back... Out of so many gifts that we've bought her... There are only 2 gifts that really bring tears to my mom. It's the tears of happiness... The 2 gifts are actually the cheapest gift, yet priceless. The first one that bring tears to my mom was the video clips of my siblings and I. I can't show you the video clips here. Its kind of... hmm... "privacy"
Haha...!! Basically, it's a Mother's Day picture message. We insert our thoughts, our wishes, the picture of my mom, my mom's wedding picture, our family holiday trip and the picture of us (my siblings and I) when we're kids and then up to that current year (I think should be somewhere around 2006).
The second one was, my mom's wedding picture. The extra things that I did was actually making the picture into a puzzle piece. I remember my mom flipping through her photo album and then looking at her wedding picture. Then my mom told me that the picture is getting very very old, as the colour is slowly fading. Then I scan it into the computer and then edited the contrast of the picture. Then printed it out for my mom. Then my mom said, "Wow~ It looks like a brand new one." I'm so happy to see mommy smile. So, I decided to make this huge puzzle piece. The largest size of her wedding picture was only the size of A4 paper. When mommy saw the huge puzzle piece, she was so touched. I could see the tears flowing in her eyes.

I plan to buy a purse with a family picture in it and adding something extra, which is actually the picture of the five of us. I know that giving a purse is nothing special. But, I think it would meant a lot to my mom. When my little brother went to KL to further his A-Level, the first thing that came to my mind was my parents. The day my brother left home, would be the first day that my parents would be all alone by themselves. All of us are far away from home. I really felt so bad about leaving my parents all alone. They're not able to see us all the time and they don't even know how to use the computer. All they know was to insert the CD and then watch the movie. Oh ya~ They do know how to turn on and off the computer. LOLx~

The tough part about the extra gift was the translating part. My parents are not highly educated and I'm English educated. Thus, my mom only knows how to read Chinese character and I know nothing about Chinese character. Well, except for my Chinese name and "1, 2, 3". I actually tried to translate word by word from English to Chinese characters with the help of Google translate. However, its kind of tough for me to translate word by word. Because I don't really know whether it has been correctly translated or not. For example, the word "but" can be translated as "dan shi" or "ke shi". In the end, I gave up and ask my friend to translate it for me. Hahaha...!!! Fast and easy. Lolx~
